Some people think that robots are very important for humans' future development. Others, however, think that robots are a dangerous invention that could have negative effects on society. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

这道题也是一道旧题，上一次出现是在2020.10.10。这道题属于双边讨论的题型，即“站在别人的立场上去思考为什么这些人会有这个观点”。

大部分学生在思路上都会去写，机器人重要是因为可以替代人去做一些危险的工作；相反，机器人未来比较危险的话，会去写人工智能发展太快，导致人类无法很好的管控它们。这道题回忆的版本有很多，如果题目只是讲“dangerous”，学生如果讲失业的话是存在跑题的。如果只是讲“negative effects ”则可以写的。所以这种思路要拿高分其实语言要相对出彩一点。

另外这道题是非常适合尝试写高分的写法的，即代入经历去写，即一些人认为机器人对于人类未来很重要，是他们看过一些科幻片，或者参观了一些科技博物馆，目睹了前沿的机器人科技是如何被用到未来生活各种场景中，特别是在一些超过人类能力的使用场景（扣题目中的“very”）。

所以这样的经历使得他们觉得对于未来很重要的。另外一些人，则是看到了另外一些科幻片，在这些科幻片中，机器人已经智能拥有了自己的意识，并且开始报复人类，甚至控制人类所以这样的经历，使得他们认为机器人可能非常危险。感兴趣的同学可以去看看变形金刚这部电影，这样的一个经历肯定会让你有类似第二种的观点。

The research into artificial intelligence advances so fast that robots are widely used in many occasions. While some people are excited about this progress, others are concerned that robots will cause problems to society.

Using robots significantly increases efficiency and improves productivity. The amount of work a robot can finish in a day is perhaps 100 times as much as a person’s workload. Arduous and repetitive work ranging from transportation of goods and operation of machines can be done by robots, so humans have more time to do creative work and enjoy leisure activities. In addition, the application of the robot can reduce workers' exposure to various hazards that cause damage to people’s health or pose a risk of injury or death. For instance, in case of a gas blast, robots can be sent to the scene of the explosion to carry out dangerous tasks.  

However, some people think the robot will bring more disadvantages to society. The first problem is the rising unemployment because manpower will be replaced by robots in the workplace. This is happening in today’s society, with numerous jobs lost and some traditional industries disappearing. Another concern is that someday robots with high intelligence may cause disastrous consequences to human society. As robots do not have sensibility or morality, they can be very dangerous if not under control. In some science fiction movies, robots have the ability to commit crimes, hurt humans or even destroy the world.

My personal view is that we should continue researching and developing artificial intelligence and make robots better serve mankind. Meanwhile, I believe supervisions and regulations need to be put into place to reduce the negative impacts when robots are integrated into society.
